Create an invoice from within the app for self-employed sole traders or limited companies.
Invoicing is now live! Open the app to check it out. When you receive payments in they will auto match to your unpaid invoices, saving you more time!
the whole concept is a brilliant, your invoices look good, would be better if i could use a desktop as well. i'm just testing one of your accounts now. Have you any idea when i could do Vat returns etc. My year ends 30 April, so any chance for next year
Could you let me know if we're able to have 2 business accounts for 2 (or more) separate businesses? How would we go between them on the APP. (Much like mainstream banks that you can drop down for the specific account)? Any more update on WHEN the invoice option is going to be available?
So just to be clear, I cannot yet create invoices? And when it is available is it just on the phone?
@Charlie Powell: Not yet. We hope to release Invoicing very soon, although we can't give a definite date yet unfortunately.
@Shaun - Countingup: Is there any update on this yet? Really need this functionality to save me time and manual processing.
@Robert Marklove: We are working hard on delivering it as quickly as possible but we don't have a firm date just yet I'm afraid. We will update you as soon as we do.
Defo need this, as a start up Ltd co, I don't have lots of money or time to be designing this sort of thing. If it's all connected through the app. A reminder of which invoices have been paid/need chasing etc. It would help for book keeping/keeping up to date.
Do you also have a set form that we could use & add to contracts with clients, for direct debit payments (with the Counting up/our logo) - similar to the invoice, but for standing order monthly payments? It's usually just a small section that needs customer signature etc. To email them, with the option for them to add their signature and have it uploaded/emailed back to us when done?
This could also help encourage new businesses (that we send the forms/invoices to) to use Counting up, spread the word of what you do and gain business yourselves? A bit of free advertising for C. UP...Just a thought....
Love the invoice designs! I'll throw in my 2 cents - I usually have quite a lot on one invoice, where I detail (per day) the work I've done. Though I like the design of these, I feel like a lot more information could fit if everything was shrunk down a bit. Not pretty, I know, but when dealing with printable designs, I'd generally opt for compact over pretty.
Will we have the ability to accept credit - debit card payments
Cool. Is it possible to see what the invoice looks like when it arrives with the Client?
@Tim Fouracre: This looks good. It would be useful to have the ability to preview the invoice before sending. Will there be the ability to set up automated reminders if invoice isn't paid?
@Sarah Jones: Thanks for the input Sarah. Automated reminders will definitely be a feature but probably not for the first release. Previewing invoices is a nice idea - we'll add that as an idea to keep track of it.
@Tim Fouracre: Thank You
@Tosin Ajayi: Something like the following but without our logo and with your business name instead. Feedback welcome :)
@Tim Fouracre: Also, I'm a Ltd company but not within tax bracket yet, so no need for TAX INVOICE on the top, just INVOICE...
@Tim Fouracre: When will these be ready for us to use?
@Tim Fouracre: Yes this last one is perfect, with the sent to email/plus our own is perfect. Could we also add our own logo/business reference and tag line under the logo?
@Hanna Fae Planton: Thanks for the feedback Hanna - noted.
@Tim Fouracre: Yep I like this, when will it be available? We were told by October ish originally. Also, I'm looking to open more than one business account. How do I do that with the app only opening onto the main account.
Looks good, definitely top of my list! Some of my clients require invoice specific fields like a PO Number, Reference or Invoice Number. It could perhaps offer an option to 'Add invoice details' similar to the 'Add another item' flow.
@Sergio Felipe: I agree that would be useful and our idea was the summary field could be used flexibly either for a reference field or any other important information to convey to the customer, or both.
@Tim Fouracre: That can work too and it keeps it simple. Maybe use some placeholder text examples to let people know they can put those details there.
@Sergio Felipe: 👍 we'll do that.
These look good - would be nice to be able to specify currency but I guess that might be a separate feature in itself.
@Ruth Cheesley: Yes the first version is GBP so multi-currency will be a feature for the future
