As a small business which takes in quite a few small payments. The 20p per transaction seems a bit much! What started out as a free account, soon went up to £2.95 per month as my business grew. My latest charge was over £17 for the month. As my business continues to grow I expect these charges will continue to rise each month. Just seems unfair to be dangled a carrot just to get me signed up then move the goalposts and basically charge what you like.

Yes I totally agree. I recently emailed counting up about that. When you first join on the app, there’s no mention of these additional charges for bank transfers in and out, only that if you go over £1750 income then you will pay the flat rate of £4.95 (or thereabouts) per month. 20p a transaction is extremely costly, especially when you have things like merchant services, where customer card payments come in in dribs and drabs!

Take a look at their proposed charges after the first year. They are unrealistic. As aside I am already paying £4.95 as the monthly account charge as the lower base charge is set so low. Counting up as an interesing product but quite rudimentary and to grow the base they must look again at their pricing
