You will soon be able to set up scheduled payments. We are working towards scheduling a one off payment in the future first, then soon after we will be working on scheduling recurring payments.

In the meantime, is it possible to schedule recurring payment on a specific day of the month to the very same provider? I am not sure how it differs from standing order but that, in effect, is what I need. That sort of queue feels like is technically possible.

I have been waiting for standings orders since I opened the account a couple of years ago now, at the time they said that they're planning to but I can't believe why VAT estimating was put above SOs! I have to do several SOs every month, VAT I do every three months. And the system cannot see what I can reclaim against or what rate I pay at (flat rate).

Guys, can you advise the timeline for having the standing order functionality available? It must be on your product roadmap with timeline and release dates.... Thanks

What a disgrace. Good enough a reason to switch banks. Unbelievable that I can't set up a standing order to pay my accountants.

This feature is really important and we want to address it but not in the coming months as our priority is at the moment on MTD VAT submission (https://countingup.canny.io/admin/feedback/accountant-hub-ideas/p/submit-vat-return-making-tax-digital?boards=accountant-hub-ideas).

I feel my delayed payments post should not have been merged into here. I was asking to process a one off payment to a recipient, but for it not too be processed until a later date. Eg, I calculate wages on Monday to be paid on Friday. I currently need to wait until Friday to send. This is not the same as a standing order, is it?
