IBAN Support

i was going to ask how long this feature would take, but its now 4 years down the line so not obviously something that's a priority. Looks like i will need to move my banking elsewhere

I agree, this feature is definitely needed

Agreed. People have been asking for it for a while too

I set up a CountingUp account a couple of weeks ago and generated an IBAN online. They do have a SWIFTBIC numbers and everything seemed to add up.
My client made the payment and it now disappeared into the ether. My fault for not checking. but I don't think it is an unreasonable assumption that a business bank account will be able to accept international payments.
I am sadly going to have to take my banking elsewhere.

When can this be added ? I absoutely need to accept International Payments.

This is critical and you need to have this option. As a new startup I have secured business abroad and need to be able to receive international transfers. When will this be implemented as otherwise I need to look at other options.

Where is this on the Counting Up roadmap please? Like others on this topic thread, receiving and sending international payments is fundamental to the success of our ongoing businesses, as was the standing order issue I raised months ago, and without firm commitment in terms of implementing this capability then I, like others, will bank elsewhere.
You've very recently secured additional funding so there should be no reason as to why you can't prioritize facilitating international payments!

I need to be able to transfer money to and from abroad and unable to because this bank does not support IBAN. I will be leaving your bank account very shortly.
Luke T Farrell
It really is essential to be able to make or receive payments to/from abroad. Please prioritise this as unfortunately I, like many others on this thread, will need to find a new business banking service very soon otherwise.
